I am primarily a self-taught artist. There are no certificates or degrees from any prestigious art institution hanging on my walls. Just paint splatter and gesso! I have just always made art in some shape or form throughout my entire life.
I love the outdoors and I am often out hiking with my dog and my camera. I use my own photographs for reference in my paintings.

Happy little trees," and flowers were the subject of my first oil painting, completed in the living room of a family friend while we watched a Bob Ross video together. I fondly remember that first exposure to the creamy smoothness of oil paints on canvas, the immense joy I found in blending the vibrant colours. Soon, I would be participating in paint classes alongside adults in my community though I was barely a teenager.
